Your very own, ‘Saddle Club’ Adventure – Noosa Horse Riding!

by MyGui

Yet again we were faced with another beautiful sunny weekend on the Sunshine Coast, meaning that there was no way we would be spending the day locked away indoors! A quick scroll and we found ourselves hovering over one epic adventure on the MyGui Website! Horse Riding on the incredible Lake Weyba – part of The Great Sandy National Park.

Now I don’t know about you, but it has always been a dream of mine to become a member of the iconic Australian childrens TV series ‘The Saddle Club’ – but with zero experience and no idea how to even get on a horse let alone ride one, my chances were pretty grim.

I can happily say that on the 4th of November 2017 I got to live my dream, arriving on site at 8am to be greeted by some of the most beautifully tempered horses I have ever laid eyes on.

Patiently we waited while the team at Noosa Horse Riding finished saddling up, kept busy by the cutest most energenic kelpie pup you will ever meet. It wasn’t long until things were ready to go, being led through to greet the two gentle giants that would be our faithful steeds for the hour long adventure.

By this point I could not contain my excitement, having picked our horses, my friend sat happily on Matthew a chestnut Gelding – while I was helped up onto Chappie, the most chilled out horse ever and a stunning dark brown colour! Chappie needed abit of coxing to get moving, with a quick lesson on the basics of riding and a gentle kick we were on our way! Trekking through some incredible country side.

Our amazing instructor led the way, followed by Matthew and then Chappie – winding through some simply stunning unspoilt wilderness right on Noosa’s doorstep! Kangaroos, goannas, Sulphur crested cockatoos and stingrays were just a handful of the incredible flora and fauna spotted on this memorable adventure.

Splashing through Lake Weyba, this was definitely an experience with a difference, watching the stingrays dart out from underneath us was truly next level – framed in the distance by the incredible coast line that stems from Noosa Heads right down to Perigian Beach.

We were spoilt for choice when if came to capturing the moment, glad to have brought our cameras for some of the best photo opportunities around!

I did not think it was possible for me to love horses more, but since this experience I can happily say I want more! Already eyeing off the 2 hour trek available and counting down the days until Chappie and I are reunited for another epic adventure!

Life should be fun for everyone! Catering for all ages 8 years and up, you definitely want to grab the entire family – book today and experience this incredible adventure for yourselves! – MyGui – The Real Experience.
